"BACKCOUNTRY" was established in 1980 as an antique and auction business, but in 1995 we purchased our first goats with the intent of using them to clean up our pasture after we sold our Paint and Quarter horses. Well, things got worse. We quickly fell in love with the Nubians and started showing in 1996.We have been very successful only showing 3 to 5 times a year and we now have some some real quality milkers - for show or milk.
